Roanoke Canal Museum and Trail

Guests learn when they arrive at the museum and trailhead kiosks that the Roanoke Canal is nearly 200 years old.

Royal Palace Theatre is the cornerstone of the Carolina Crossroads Music and Entertainment District.

The Roanoke Canal Trail

The Roanoke Canal Trail is a beautiful recreational biking route from the town of Roanoke Rapids to Weldon. The trail follows one of the country's most impressive and best-preserved early 19-century canals.
